Les santalacees (Santalaceae) son una familia de plantes perteneciente al orde de les santalales.

Descripción

Son plantes herbales o maderices, hemiparásites, con haustorios nes raigaños de los güéspedes. Presenten fueyes simples, davezu alternes. Les flores son inconspicuas, hermafrodites o unisexuales, actinomorfes, con periantu de trés a seis pieces, ovariu ínfero, unilocular y carpelos abiertos. Los frutos pueden ser núcules o drupes. Arrexunta a unes 450 especies de países templaos y templaos.
