Passer pyrrhonotus ye una especie d'ave paseriforme de la familia Passeridae.[2] Nun se reconocen subespecies.[2] Ye propiu d'Asia, atopándose en Paquistán ya India. Habita namái nes selves d'estos países, acomuñar siempres a sitios onde esquite agua. Puede ser confundíu col gorrión común (Passer domesticus).
