Harry Myers (5 de setiembre de 1882, New Haven – 25 d'avientu de 1938, Hollywood) foi un actor y direutor cinematográficu d'Estaos Xuníos, activu na dómina del cine mudu.

Biografía

El so nome complete yera Harry C. Myers, y nació en New Haven, Connecticut. Antes de dedicase al cine, Myers fuera mientres diez años actor teatral. Empecipiar nel cine actuando pa los estudios de Siegmund Lubin, Lubin Manufacturing Company, en 1909.[4] En 1914 yá dirixía los sos propios curtios, nos cualos actuaba él y la so esposa, Rosemary Theby, pa les productores Universal Studios, Vim Comedy Company y Pathé.

A partir de 1920 fixo munchos papeles protagonistes en llargumetraxes, destacando d'ente ellos el so papel como excéntrico millonariu na cinta de Charles Chaplin City Lights (1931).[5]

Sicasí, cola llegada del cine sonoru, la so carrera tornó.[4] En total, a lo llargo de la so carrera, Myers actuó en más de 300 producciones estrenaes ente 1908 y 1938, dirixendo unos 50 filmes ente 1913 y 1917.

Harry Myers finó en Hollywood, California, en 1938, por causa d'una neumonía.
