Biografía

Nacíu en Cincinnati, Ohio, el so nome completu yera Burton Lorain King, y empezó a trabayar nel cine nos años 1910 pa la Broncho Film Company.

A lo llargo de la so carrera dirixó un total de 141 filmes dende 1913 a 1934. Tamién produció más de trenta y actuó en 29. Amás foi guionista y direutor de producción. Nos primeres años 1920 collaboró col famosu "magu" Harry Houdini, al que dirixó en dos películes, The Master Mystery (1920) y The Man from Beyond (1922).
