عمر سليمان من مواليد قنا يوم 2 يوليه سنة 1936 وتوفى يوم 19 يوليه 2012 فى الولايات المتحده ، هو سياسى مصرى ، كان نايب رئيس جمهورية مصر من 29 يناير 2011 لغاية 11 فبراير 2011. كان قبل كده رئيس جهاز المخابرات العامه المصريه من سنة 1993 .

فوضه الرئيس حسنى مبارك لإدارة مصر يوم 10 فبراير 2011 ، لكن بعد يوم واحد بس الرئيس اتخلى عن الحكم.

التعليم

عمر سليمان من مواليد محافظة قنا فى الصعيد و سنة 1954 لما كان عنده 19 سنه راح القاهره علشان يدخل الكليه الحربيه . و أخد تدريبات عسكرية إضافية فى الاتحاد السوڤيتى فى أكاديمية فرونز العسكرية فى موسكو . و شارك فى حروب يونيه 1967 و اكتوبر 1973,[23] pde

المخابرات

عمر سليمان بقا نايب ريس المخابرات العسكرية سنة 1986 برتبة لوا، ومديرها سنة 1991 [24] و بعد كده إتعين رئيس جهاز المخابرات العامه المصريه يوم 22 يناير سنة 1993.
