Die wildetee (Athrixia elata Sond.) is 'n struikie wat in Lesotho, Eswatini, die Vrystaat, Mpumalanga, Gauteng en Limpopo voorkom. Op die SANBI-rooilys is dit as 'veilig' (LC) gelys.[1]

Nes A. phylicoides word hierdie plant soms as tee gebruik. Navorsing het getoon dat dit min toksisiteit veroorsaak in waterige oplossings. In alkohol is dit anders. Die tee bevat geen kaffeïen nie.[2]
