Kirkwall
Kirkwall is die grootste nedersetting en hoofstad van die Skotse Orkney-eilande. Dit het 'n bevolking van sowat 8 686 in 2006 gehad. Die naam Kirkwall kom vanaf die Oudnoorse woord "Kirkjuvagr", wat Kerkbaai beteken.
