Dichapetalum

Dichapetalum is 'n genus in die Dichapetalaceae familie. Die plante is tropiese lianas inheems hoofsaaklik aan tropiese streke van Afrika, Asië, Maleisië, die Wes-Indiese Eilande, Australië en Latyns Amerika. Dit is bekend dat sommige spesies giftig is as gevolg van die teenwoordigheid van giftige gefluoreerde verbindings soos fluorasynsuur[3] en dikapetaliene, 'n unieke klas sitotoksiese verbindings wat slegs binne hierdie genus gevind word.[4]
