Cyanella marlothii is 'n meerjarige blomplant en geofiet wat tot die genus Cyanella behoort. Die plant is endemies aan die Noord-Kaap. Dit kom voor in die Richtersveld net wes van Ploegberg. Daar is slegs een populasie met minder as 50 plante wat bedreig word deur oorbeweiding.
