Boophone haemanthoides is 'n geofiet wat tot die Amaryllidaceae familie hoort. Die spesie is inheems aan Namibië en Suid-Afrika. In Suid-Afrika kom die plant in die Noord-Kaap en die Wes-Kaap voor.
