Ihre Bearbeitung und Montage erfolgt in einem nahezu staubfreien Reinraum, der eine sehr saubere Verarbeitung ermöglicht. The superconducting resonators that are used in the particle accelerators of the free-electron laser FLASH, the European XFEL X-ray laser and the International Linear Collider ILC, are made of purest niobium. To ensure very clean processing, they are manufactured and assembled in a cleanroom that is all but free of dust. |
