Original field note from author: This bird is of note in that it was the last nesting bird on Motu Tabu, due to excessive poaching. Motu Tabu is one of several Closed Areas for wildlife on the large atoll, located at 2 degrees north latitude and 1100 miles directly south of Hawaii. |
