Deutsch: Die Gemeinde wurde am 1. Januar 1975 durch Vereinigung von Häg und Ehrsberg geschaffen. Beide Orte gehörten zur Herrschaft Zell der Herren von Schönau (seit 1628 Schönau-Zell). Nach dem Anfall an Baden wurden sie 1811 selbstständige Gemeinden. In Altenstein, einem ehemaligen Nebenort von Häg, liegen die Ruinen der Burg gleichen Namens. Sie fiel 1350 an die Herren von Schönau. Das Wappen ist in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Generallandesarchiv entworfen und am 7. Juli 1978 mit der Flagge vom Landratsamt Lörrach verliehen worden. Der Zinnenturm - dem 1895 angenommenen Wappen der Gemeinde Häg entlehnt - erinnert an die Burg Altenstein. Das hintere Feld gibt in vereinfachter Form das Stammwappen der Herren von Schönau wieder, das in geteiltem Schild oben in Schwarz zwei goldene Ringe, unten in Gold einen schwarzen Ring zeigt und unter anderem auf historischen Grenzsteinen beider Ortsteile heute noch zu sehen ist. |
