Description
English: Sheng sheng, a mythical Chinese creature, from Shan Hai Jing. The sheng-sheng 狌狌 is considered an obsolete name for xing-xing 猩猩, "orangutan" by the Bencao Gangmu, and the latter is known in Japan as en:shōjō (q.v.)
